Little Aird Hill is generously furnished to ensure the absolute comfort of guests. Detached and separate from the main house, the property is clad in local larch timber with a slate roof and high efficiency, double glazed windows.

The main room consists of 3 main spaces:

The kitchen consists of a ‘U’ shaped work surface with 1 ½ sink, a 4 heat electric hob and a full size oven / grill. Opposite the breakfast bar sits a microwave, toaster and kettle and below them, the dishwasher and fridge (with small freezer compartment). Our guests to date assure us that the kitchen lacks nothing!

The lounge area is centred around a high efficiency wood burning stove with a double sofa and single sofa chair, a digital flat screen tv and a music system including radio, CD player and i-dock. Free wifi is available throughout the property.

The sleeping area offers a king size bed with fresh, crisp quality linen, bed side tables, reading lamps and a wardrobe. Thick, soft rugs either side ensure a comfy start to the day, but before getting up you might like to just lie in bed, relaxing and gaze from your bed through the trees and over the bay to the mountains.

Separate to the main room is:

The sunroom with 2 glass walls, presents a stunning view of Badachro Bay and the mountains beyond. A couple of easy chairs provide the most wonderful spot to relax and at the other end of the sunroom, the bistro style dining corner completes the picture.

The shower room is generously proportioned, very white and with underfloor heating and a towel radiator, is always nice and warm. You’ll find the toilet and wash hand basin in here too.

Heating. The main heating source is the wood burning stove, but to ensure your comfort at all times, pre-programmed, thermostatically controlled central heating radiators ensure against any chill in the morning and evening so you remain comfortable whilst getting the stove going. Having said that, with modern insulation the heating often isn’t needed.
