Badachro, near Gairloch in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland
WHERE?

The comfortable double bed

Location

Little Aird Hill is located in the grounds of Aird Hill Bed and Breakfast, overlooking Badachro near Gairloch in Wester Ross. It’s certainly one of the most beautiful spots in the Highlands and therefor, anywhere!

The property is detached and separate from the main house, sharing the main driveway but with a private parking place and path to the property.

Badachro rests in a natural, secluded bay on the south side of the Gairloch, on the north west coast of Scotland. Considered to be one of Scotland’s most idyllic havens, it’s approximately 15 minutes’ drive from the village of Gairloch.

A short drive to the west of Badacho lies Red Point, a stunning piece of headland separating Gairloch from Loch Torridon and boasting two stunning beaches. The ‘Near’ beach offers view across the Minch to the northern end of Skye, to Harris & Lewis and the ‘Far’ beach presents the Torridon mountains to the south east, and the Coullin mountains on southern Skye.

Badachro is a fantastic haven for sailers and very popular with west coast yatch mooring. We have our own mooring which is available for use by our guests and an 'outhauler' for tenders.

Numerous walks along deserted beaches, around secluded lochs and up hills and mountains are within easy reach and Badachro is ideally situated as base for exploring the whole area.

The National Trust’s world renowned Inverewe Gardens are close by, just outside Poolewe and a range of boat trips and attractions including Gairloch Museum and The Perfume Studio are within easy reach.

The Badachro Inn is only 10 or so minutes’ walk from Little Aird Hill, where quality food and drinks are served in a warmly atmospheric pub with fantastic views.
